New year, new challenge

I decided my first post back after a long hiatus was going to be this layout I put together for the My Mind's Eye Blog challenge. Here is what the sketch looks like:

 

And here's my interpretation:

I have been waiting of for the perfect time to scrapbook this lovely picture of my sister and her husband on their wedding day. It happens to be one of my favorite pictures of that special day. I used the Lost & Found collection for most of this layout and I think the colors compliment the photo just perfectly. I had a great time creating this layout and I'm happy with how it turned out.


On another note, I've worked on quite a few projects since I last blogged and I'm excited to share those projects with you again! I must say - though I haven't been as active with blogging I've not exactly been idle, either. The most immediate project I'll be sharing is the mini album from our family vacation in Maui this last August. Here is a sneak peak of what's to come:
